There’s nothing we love more than getting to know our couples during a relaxed pre-wedding shoot. This Scottish coastal engagement session was the perfect example of why! They’re a great way of getting used to the cameras whilst shaking off any awkwardness you think you might have! Choose somewhere special to you, whether that is by the sea, in your favourite city or up in the Highlands. We guarantee after a couple of hours wandering on the beach or hiking up hills with us, you’ll be naturals! As a result, your wedding day photography will be a breeze.
Sophie + Lewis chose the wonderful beach at Tyninghame for their Scottish coastal engagement session. This place is easily one of our (and our dog Agent Cooper’s) favourite spots on the East Coast. They were to get hitched in January at Comrie Croft, so a seaside photo session on a warm sunny day sounded like the perfect companion piece to their wintery wedding a few months later.
We met Sophie + Lewis and excitedly chatted about their wedding plans whilst walking to the beach. Their chemistry was effortless and it was so relaxed that it was like spending the day with old pals. We wandered along the coastline, over sand and rocks, up and across woodland paths and through fields. All the way capturing so many sweet moments with these soul mates.
