Hatty and Andy. We have so much love for these guys and loved providing photography for their intimate Scottish wedding. They married in secret on the misty, moody banks of Loch Awe surrounded by their parents and closest friends. To be part of such an intimate celebration was truly special.

They were married inside the historic and stunning St Conan’s Kirk before being piped down to Kilchurn Castle for a handfasting ceremony performed by their parents. Afterwards we explored the wild surroundings together, venturing into some pretty questionable landscapes/bogs… totally worth it. We delivered the newlyweds to a cosy local pub where they rejoined their guests for some moving, relaxed speeches and a very well-deserved drink.

For some, the hectic nature of a big wedding can be overwhelming. It can be hard to be open with your emotions and ‘present’ on the day. One of the things we love most about elopements and wee weddings is seeing couples living truly in the moment. Hatty and Andy were the perfect example of this. They embraced the elements and enjoyed every second of their wee wedding adventure without a care in the world.
