I’m pretty sure we’ve written this countless times on our blog and across social media platforms over the years, but there is just ‘something’ special about Crear wedding photography. It is one of the most remote wedding venues in Scotland. On a clear day you can see for miles, beyond the Paps of Jura that rise majestically from the sea. But even on a mistier, moodier day (like this one) it has an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the country.

Lisa and Chris’ Crear wedding was easily one of our highlights of 2018. Their day had everything that you hope for in a wedding.

It’s easy to see how loved Lisa and Chris are. Guests crossed land and sea to this faraway place to celebrate with them. The ceremony was beautiful and took place within the dreamy minimalist interior of Crear.

Afterwards, Lisa quickly changed into a pair of Converse, perfectly complimenting her stunning Daughters of Simone dress, before loading her brand new husband into a Landrover Defender and headed for the beach. They wandered along the sand, with the sun bathing the newlyweds in an almost silvery, Spring light. We could’ve photographed these two for hours. But after stealing a few more minutes with them, we made our way back to Crear.

The day was full of memorable moments; poignant speeches, catching up with the boys for a celebratory cigar, and of course one of the wildest dancefloors ever. It was tough to drag ourselves away at the end of the night!

We hope you enjoy this Crear wedding photography story as much as we enjoyed putting it together. Although it was almost impossible to keep it to the maximum 250 images! Thank you Lisa and Chris for letting us be a tiny part of your amazing day. This was a cracker. We’ll never forget it.

P.S – HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY GUYS 🙂
