Chelsea & Erin invited 100 of their favourite people to Scotland for this dreamy modern bohemian castle wedding. It was a beauty!

We’ve been looking forward to sharing Chelsea and Erin’s modern bohemian castle wedding story for a long time now. But we’d also been dreading having to choose just 250 photos from the full set! Without wishing to sound like someone much cooler and younger than I am – this wedding was EVERYTHING. We met these two dream girls for cocktails a few weeks before their big day, and became firm friends instantly. The more they told us about their wedding plans, the cheesier our grins became.

Chelsea and Erin travelled from New York City to get married in a Scottish castle. They were surrounded by a wonderfully mad bunch of 100 friends and family, and we were absolutely honoured to be there to capture it all.

The girls got ready in opposite wings of the castle (as is tradition) with their bridal squads in tow. They arranged to see each other for the first time at a nearby mountain pass – the perfect way to settle the nerves and give each other a tight squeeze of reassurance. We couldn’t get over how perfect Chelsea and Erin looked together. They just fit.

Everything after this was a blur of highlights. Attempting to write about them in long form might resemble a dissertation, so here’s a few snippets: Racing around the coastline to capture some sweet pre-ceremony moments, the amazing dresses, the beautiful ceremony conducted by close friends and siblings, the countless happy tears, the hand-painted denim jackets, their grand entrance to a Ludacris banger, the hundreds of donuts, all the amazing people we met, dancing into the wee hours of the morning, watching Americans experience midgies for the first time…

We’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story. But we’ll sum up with this: At 11.30pm, a packed, teary-eyed room was still entranced by a succession of speeches and stories from Chelsea and Erin’s closest friends – we hadn’t even made it to the dancefloor yet! That’s a pretty good indicator of the love for these incredible women and the impact they’ve had on so many. This truly was a special day that we’ll be talking about for a very long time to come.
