With our 2018 wedding season now in full swing, we decided we should get a move on and finally share some of the stories we captured last year! Up first is Leanne + Ali’s cracker of a day at the simply stunning Errol Park in Perthshire.
This mega-romantic rural estate is a wedding photographer’s dream, with its beautiful interiors, vast array of gardens and endless quirks and surprises around every corner. Easily one of our favourite Scottish wedding venues.
Leanne + Ali’s wedding was a day filled with family, friendship, laughter, music, unreal food, crazy dancing and lots of shouts of ‘RAFA RAFA BENITEZ!’ – I don’t think Martyna knew who, where or what a ‘Rafa Benitez’ was that day, but she certainly knows him now.
These two sweethearts tied the knot at nearby Errol Parish Church before heading back to Errol Park, where the celebrations continued. After exploring some of the many, many hidden delights of the estate with Leanne + Ali, we headed to the converted circular stables where Wild Rover had handpicked some guests to help serve up some of the best-smelling and tasting food known to man. There’s only one way to work off a cracking big meal, and that’s by partaking in some absolutely WILD ceilidh dancing… (soundtracked by the always excellent Corra) with our favourite being the crazy-good Kelly Clarkson/Ceilidh mash-up – CEILIDH CLARKSON!
Spending time with two of the sweetest, most chilled-out people on the happiest day of their lives at a gorgeous, accommodating, family-run venue was a definite highlight of 2017. One of our favourite weddings from a year that was filled with favourite weddings! More of the same in 2018 and another visit to Errol Park… please?!
