It’s hard to put into words just how special this Cow Shed Crail wedding is to us. Claire + Josh are a couple with one of those connections that brings a smile to your face. Their wedding was visually stunning, we had perfect weather, cracking locations and wonderful people. It was also (somewhat selfishly!) the start of a beautiful friendship.

We’d admired Claire’s amazing work as a photographer for a while, so when she got in touch about the possibility of us capturing her wedding we felt flattered, excited and nervous in equal measure! But as soon as we arrived in the quaint seaside village of St Monans, all nerves were put to rest. We also had a bevvy of bridesmaids and a gaggle of groomsmen on-hand to keep things entertaining!

Their ceremony at Holy Trinity Church in St Andrews was nothing short of joyous. A celebration of love, faith and song sung with such gusto that it was impossible not to join in! Straight after the ceremony we whisked the guys away in our car and headed for the sea! Catching some ‘just married’ moments with Claire and Josh was a total pleasure and we could’ve stayed there all day…

We eventually made our way to The Cow Shed, Crail – a stunner of a venue kitted out with so many details and little touches by our mega-creative couple and their team of helpers. There were speeches in the courtyard, before the wedding feast set everyone up perfectly for some crazy dancing. There were flailing limbs and beaming smiles everywhere we looked.

As they made their dramatic exit, we realised how lucky we were to have been part of this wonderful celebration. Since that day, Claire and Josh have become dear friends of ours; which makes looking back on their incredible wedding even more special.

C + J, happy first anniversary. We love you guys and thanks for letting us capture the best day ever!
