Those of you who follow us on Instagram or Facebook might have noticed that we got engaged last week! It’s been amazing, crazy, surreal and we’ve been so overwhelmed with the reaction and kind words we’ve received from everyone. Thank you all so much!

So, this seemed like the perfect time to share one of our favourite stories of the year so far… Anthony got in touch back in June, with the super secret plan of proposing to Morgan when he joined her family on a trip to Scotland. We immediately fell in love with the idea and suggested a road trip to the Glencoe area that we could disguise as a photoshoot for their anniversary…

Every time we visit Glencoe is a completely different experience; one of the many reasons that we love it so much. The day of the proposal was one of the warmest of the year, meaning the mountains, rolling hills and rivers were bathed in a glorious golden light – the only downside being that the infamous Highland midges were on high alert!

We took the guys to a few of our favourite locations, with butterflies in our stomachs the entire time. Anthony hadn’t decided where/when he would ‘pop the question’ so we waited, eagle-eyed for a signal… When it eventually came, down on the rocks by the River Etive, it was perfect. Morgan had absolutely no idea and reacted with total shock and excitement – she of course said a MASSIVE yes!

Once we’d scraped Morgan back down from the top of Etive Mor(!), we explored some more of the incredible landscape together as the sun went down over the mountains. The amazing love and connection between Morgan and Anthony is so strong that it was hard to finally put our cameras down for the day.

On the way home, we stopped for our customary fish and chips at The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum and reflected on a perfect day – and a perfectly-executed plan. We couldn’t have been happier for these two and now know exactly how they felt as they sat in disbelief, barely able to believe what had just happened. We hope you enjoy this story as much as we loved playing a little part in it…
